Abortion is now legal in Indiana only in very narrow circumstances – if your pregnancy is the result of rape or incest, or if you have been diagnosed with a lethal fetal anomaly (the fetus will not survive), or if continuing the pregnancy would endanger your life or cause permanent and significant harm to your physical health. Abortions can only be done in Indiana in these situations. This means that most people in Indiana who need an abortion will have to leave the state to find a provider.

Many other states have not restricted or banned abortion, and you can travel to one of those states, like Illinois or Michigan, to have an abortion. You can find a list of abortion providers and more information and resources at AbortionFinder.org.
